The Origins of Rustlers

About Us

Dean and Tammi Oorschot started in September 1999, with a little restaurant on Fredrick Street. In 2005 they employed Les Palmer to help Dean and to help make Rustlers prosper even when they weren't at the Restaurant. later on, Les’ wife Susie joined the team.

In 2016, Dean and Tammi then passed the baton onto Susie and Les. This allowed Dean and Tammi to rest easy in retirement knowing that their legacy was in good hands and allowing Les and Susie, after years of dedication to their work, reap even further rewards for their own future.

The small function room – Upstairs – is becoming more and more a place for people to meet after work for a quick drink, or a casual environment for pre-dinner drinks before heading down for dinner.

With Les and Susie at the helm, customers are assured that the same quality of service and food can still be found at Rustlers, allowing the business to grow from strength to strength.

Through constant revision of procedures on service and food quality, you can be assured that standards never fall away and that Rustlers is always looking out for the customers best interest and aiming to make their experience one of the best in town.
